Looking for a mechanic with diesel vw knowledge that can help diagnose a coolant loss issue in my MK5 Golf. Pressure test came back normal so was told possibly head gasket (however mechanic I saw said they don't work on these cars usually so he was not certain). Suspect EGR valve could be clogged Symptoms: - Coolant drains soon after topping up, coolant warning comes light on, engine temp starts to rise (and lower) sporadically after engine heats up - Bit sluggish taking off, consuming more fuel - Oil level normal; no milky residue on cap or dipstick, no noticeable white smoke from exhaust Looking for someone to diagnose issue and a quote to repair (and advice for addressing any issues specific to maintaining a Diesel engine) - Due date: Flexible
