What does a mechanic service usually include?

Minor service
This is the most basic engine service a mechanic provides, but it can make a huge difference in whether or not your car can operate efficiently. Roadworthy certificate or pink slip
A roadworthy certificate or pink slip is a specific vehicle check that’s conducted to ensure your car is in a roadworthy condition and can be operated safely. In some states, it’s required when selling a car or may be required each year to confirm your vehicle is safe for registration purposes. A mechanic will check off a list of predetermined items to verify that your car meets a minimum safety standard set out by your state government. Looking for a professional car mechanic to look at my car’s failing battery. It died few hours ago, so I jump started it and it fired up the engine but acceleration and transmission is poor, its struggles to move past 10kmh. Dashboard lights might blink, it might go off, AC won’t turn off and in general there seems to be a delay in the electrics. But putting the key into my car will light up car lights like normal, only difference is red battery light indicator on. Might need a new alternator or a battery, model Lexus rx350 2008.
