A mechanic will check off a list of predetermined items to verify that your car meets a minimum safety standard set out by your state government. Need a car mechanic to look into my car engine sound after changing spark plugs myself. Its a Nissan Xtrail 2010, the plugs are the right ones(changed all 4), same as the old ones. However after changing the plugs the engine sounds more loud comparing before the change when started and at lower speed. It seems no such sound when at high speed. Fuel consumption seems constant as before the change,.staying at 9.3L/100KM. Car available after 6PM and over weekend to be checked.
