My BMW X5 began emitting smoke from the exhaust and engine, prompting me to take it to a mechanic. Over a year later the car was still not fixed. New engine was put in but vehicle was still smoking heavily, leaking oil and not running correctly. Need a mechanics expert opinion in writing on the work done to the vehicle. Possible alternator problem. I believe it is the alternator. I had a similar issue back in June. I got it serviced and a couple of filters got replaced. The car will turn on and run for 15 to 30 seconds and then the battery will just stop. Was able to get it to run for five minutes but the same thing it would just die on me. You can hear the engine struggling so I don’t know what it could be and I’m moving house this week too so I do need the car fixed. $50 just to start off with. Budget isn’t high due to moving house at the moment but will discuss once the problem is figured out

I have a 2017 vf calias v6 I'm having a few issues with, It broke down yesterday and sounded terrible when I tryed to start it, left it for a bit and it started okay, got it home but it's missing and not running great at all, I need someone with a scantool to come have a look at it and see what the issues are!
