Mechanic to fix Alfa Romeo ambient temp sensor

The ambient temperature gauge is not reading properly. It’s reading between -12 and -1 degrees and therefore can’t be re-gassed/aircon not working. I’ve been speaking with an Alfa specialist in Sydney and it can be fixed quite easily and without the need of new parts. However the Alfa dealer have quoted to replace the whole mirror. So I’m hoping someone will be able to help me instead of using Alfa. Car- Alfa Romeo Guilietta The temp sensor is in the right hand outside mirror. Thanks, Teegan

I require someone to look at my outboard ASAP. Local mechanics are saying 2 / 3 week delay, just to take a look. Qualified mechanic or even just someone who knows what they are doing. Motor: 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke high thrust. 6 months old
