I have a Ford AU wagon in my carport and I lost the key so I replaced the ignition barrel and have new keys, however the immobiliser has been triggered and I need a mechanic who has dealt with this issue before to get the car started for me. The new keys did not come with a chip so I would prefer to just be able to disengage the immobiliser completely as opposed to having to program the key to sync with the car, (if that is possible).
