Hassle-FREE mobile tyre replacement
Got a flat tyre or worn-out tyre treads? Do your tyres look and feel like a million years old? If in doubt, it’s best to consult a mobile mechanic about tyre replacement.
The mechanic will first apply the parking brake and wheel wedges. Then, they will remove the hubcap or wheel cover, loosen the locking wheel nuts, raise the vehicle using the jack, and unscrew the locking wheel nuts. The old tyre will be removed, and a new one will be mounted using lug bolts. The locking wheel nuts will be tightened manually and using a wrench. Then, your vehicle will be lowered onto the ground, and the locking wheel nuts will be tightened once again. Once everything is nice and secure, the mechanic will check the pressure in the new tyre.Â
Tyre repair via mobile mechanic
A mobile mechanic can successfully diagnose and repair your damaged tyres. Typically, they will use one of three kinds of repair processes: puncture, spot, or section repairs. Puncture repairs consist of cleaning the damaged area, inserting a stem or material into the hole, and applying cement on top of the puncture.
Spot repairs are used for damage that only affects the surface on the tread, shoulder, or sidewall of tyres (for radial tyres) or less than 25% of the plies (for bias tyres). Â
Lastly, section repairs are used for more serious damage to tyres. A patch and fill materials are typically used for this type of tyre repair.
TPMS valve replacement
The TPMS or tyre pressure monitoring system is an important part of your car. By monitoring the pressure in each of your tyres, it lengthens tyre life, improves fuel efficiency, and helps you avoid accidents. Remember to get your TPMS valve replaced whenever you get a tyre repaired or replaced.
Locking wheel nut removal via mobile tyre-fitting service
Locking wheel nuts (or lug nuts) can be a hassle, and you may have thought of removing them or replacing them with fancy aftermarket ones. However, it’s best to get them removed safely by an expert.
