🎶 Wanted: Passionate Music Teacher for Young Learners! 🎵 Are you a music teacher in the Canberra (Googong or Jerra) area with a heart for inspiring young minds? We are on the lookout for a talented and nurturing music teacher to introduce the world of music to a 4-year-old. If you have experience with children and a deep love for music, we would love to hear from you! What We’re Looking For: • Experience with kids: patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage a young audience. • Musical Expertise: A strong background in music is essential. Familiarity with Australian country songs (like those by Slim Newton) and classic children’s songs is a plus. • Engaging Teaching Style: Ability to make lessons fun and interactive, adapting to the child’s learning style. Initially, we’re looking for lessons for 1 hour each weekend, scheduled at a time that’s convenient for you. The lessons will take place at our home in Googong or Jerrabomberra. $50 per lesson ($1000 for 20 lessons) * This opportunity would be ideal for a student at the ANU School of Music looking to gain hands-on teaching experience. I am looking for a piano teacher for my children, who are aged 12 and 14. Ideally, the teacher would also be able to do vocal training, and be able to teach them how to play and sing at the same time. We'd like them to have 30 minutes separately, so one hour a week at our house, ideally during the working week after school.
