I am very lucky to find Alex on Airtasker after week of headache for my network problem. I recently installed NBN however the access point was at the back of the basement floor. The upper floor where we live cannot get any wifi signal. Bought a satellite and was hoping to improve the connectivity, unfortunately the satellite won’t pair with the router. I placed the job request on Airtasker last night, Alex is able to comes next day. He is able to run a Ethernet cable to a centralised access point within 1 hour. Not only he did what I requested on Airtasker but he went above and beyond by helping me to set up/ pairing the satellite with mesh router. My home now has very strong wifi signal in every corner. NBN just installed their NBN box in my garage. Job: Move data cable from outside to inside garage, and connect to the newly installed nbn box. There's already existing wall sockets inside the house. Drilling required. Data Cable is currently on exterior wall of garage. My understanding from NBN is that an electrician needs to simply bring the data cable (which was previously connected to the old Optus technology)from outside and connect it to the new box.
