Oil and Filter Assessment
Upon arriving, your mechanic will first inspect your vehicle before draining the old engine oil and replacing the filter. This process involves starting your car and warming up your motor oil. Then, they will lift your vehicle to locate the drain plug and place an oil pan underneath while draining out the old motor oil. Â
Oil and Filter Replacement
After draining out the old engine oil, your mechanic will proceed with removing the old filter using a wrench. Then, they will put a small amount of engine oil to the gasket to avoid leaks. Once they replace the oil filter with a new one, they will pour in the correct grade and amount of oil suited for your vehicle using a funnel to avoid leaks.
Final Inspection and Testing
After placing the new oil and filter, your mechanic will do a final inspection by starting the engine and letting it run it for a few minutes. Im looking for somebody who specialise in fixing oil leaks. My honda crv 2003 has oil leaks again. From Iast year around October I already replaced the solenoid and gasket cover something which all of the part list still with me you can see for reference if needed, but now the oil leaks is back and Im really scared because I use the car as my home. I'm looking for anybody who can really help fixing this problem away, please quote me and see if can afford or not. Also, it's time to change the oil and filters too. My car bonnet has been producing a little smoke and occasionally smells a bit like burning plastic. I suspect it could be an oil issue because the car temperature is fine. I have a drive up to Bright this weekend (3 and a half hours each way) and need to make sure I don't break down. I want someone to come and check/change the oil and if they identify any other issues, let me know.
