Our Emilia oven (gas/electric combo) makes a humming / rattling sound once it has heated up to a certain temperature, regardless of if its on fan force or not, and does not go away when you turn the oven off. The cooking functionality of the oven and stove are working fine. I'd like to see if the issue can be diagnosed and fixed, or if we need to replace the entire oven. Can send more details if needed. We moved into a new home with an older Emilia gas oven. The oven reaches 120 C and then turns off, and needs constant relighting. All four hobs on top work fine. Top electric broiler works, as does the light and fan. We would like the oven plus vents etc to be cleaned and the oven repaired. We will pay the cost for any parts needed.

Hi there! I have a broken fan in a smeg oven (I think). When I turn on the oven to any of the settings and put the temperature on, no heat comes out and the fan at the back isn’t spinning.

I bought a new 60cm electric oven to replace my old oven but didn’t realise that my old oven was gas until it was removed today. I have paused the delivery until I can get some quotes. The job would be the installation of the oven and setting up the hard wiring for the electrical function from the electricity source. I live in a small semi in Marrickville. I am a music artist who has had all their work cancelled yet again with Covid closures of dance floors by the Govt with no support for our industry - so I just need to understand the cost to decide whether to go ahead with this oven or cancel my order and get a gas oven instead. I am able re-arrange delivery of this gas oven at short notice around the Airtaskers availability. I am fully vaxxed & follow Covid-safe procedures.
