Painter needed to paint 1 bedroom, living room, formal dining room small play room and hallway on the central coast. House currently empty for an easy access if painted this week.
Ned accepted a painting task, came out and viewed the task, did a walk through prior to starting, and then turned up the next day to begin work. After one day of tapping up, Ned informed us the task was too big and he would need double the price. We did not have the funds to complete. We would have preferred Ned had been honest upfront rather then starting and not finishing. Ned seems like a nice guy, but we wouldn’t use his services again. We did get the house painted by a professional afterwards, for the same price Ned had originally accepted. So we don’t feel that we over estimated the space. That being said, Ned and I did come to an agreement for cost of what he did do, which is the price reflected, so he was amicable, and I’m sure perfectly suited to smaller projects if needed.
