I’ve just joined GoodLife Gym (my membership is valid at any GoodLife Gym) but I am closest to Holland Park, Carina, Carindale, Mount Gravatt suburbs. I can travel a bit further if need be. I would prefer someone who has a GoodLife Gym membership so that you can show me in person how to use the equipment and check my technique. But I am open to offers from PT’s who don’t have GoodLife Gym membership. I am somewhat flexible with time but prefer mid morning on a week day. I am a middle-aged gym newbie who is overwhelmed with all the “space-ship” type equipment :) My goals are to increase muscle strength and lose weight but I can’t do this without support. I know that GoodLife offer 2 x personal training sessions for $39 and I have used that option without much success unfortunately. After the 2 PT sessions I was asked to sign up to a “programme” with the personal trainer that literally cost me more than my Gym membership! I still haven’t been shown how to use any of the machines and I haven’t been given a programme to follow. After being a member now for almost 4 weeks I still don’t know what I am doing or how to reach my goals. I have a limited budget but I am committed to achieving my goals. I am hoping to find someone who is currently studying PT or who is willing to take on an unfit, overweight, 50+ woman, help her be accountable and turn her life around. I’m happy to be your “project” :) I need you to write me up a personal programme and show me what to do. Then monitor success and help keep me on track. I like using apps if there’s one that you use?
