Need a temporary dog door insert for sliding doors. The online ones only go to 2meters, however our door is 3meters. Happy for someone to do a DIY approach - buy plank of wood from Bunnings, and cut hole to add standard pre-purchased dog door. Price doesn’t include materials - just labour. I’ll pay for the materials required also :)

What I need: 1. Custom make a 500mm x 300mm glass window with an aluminium frame. 2. Install the custom glass window with the pet door onto the sliding door rail. Or 3. Alternatively, install a new pet door directly if that’s a better solution for either of the two doors in the picture I’ve already received quotes for a pet door installation at $550.
