I recently bought a second hand 2008 Peugeot 207, and haven't driven it too much since. Over the weekend though I drove it to Coogee, had it parked for several hours, and when trying to start the car the ignition did not click over at first... Then, without the key in the ignition, roughly every minute or so the windscreen wipers would start themselves and the headlights would turn themselves on. I tried starting the car once more, successfully, but a warning light for ABS would come up on screen, warning me to not drive. I had the NRMA come out to diagnose the car, and they said it must be an electrical fault, and I was able to drive my car home with zero problems right up until the very end in which my speedometer dropped out, I got another ABS warning to stop (that went away immediately) and the windscreen wipers would start again. I would love some help further diagnosing and fixing the problem from someone experienced with Peugeot cars. I will flag as well, the cars coolant sensor is faulty (diagnosed by a mechanic and quoted to fix).

Peugeot 308 CC roof does not open, have had it checked out by a Peugeot Mechanic who checked car and confirm roof motor, gaskets, oil, fuses etc all working as expected and passed computer checks. Mechanic believes roof needs to be manually open and wires check and repaired. - Due date: Needs to be done on Tuesday, 19 December 2023

I recently purchased a 2007 Peugeot 407 I suspect the head gasket is cracked and i have noticed there is water / coolant in the engine oil (as pictured) At present vehicle is driving fine. (it has a struggle to start every now and then - however i believe that is unrelated to the Water in Oil issue. I would like to have the head gasket repaired . I have a 2006 407 HDI Exec 2.0 TD . It has just stopped and now wont start. Prior to this it would, from time to time splutter and choke under load. The NRMA road side guy was no help at all just said he thought it was a fuel pump. Happy to use reconditioned pump if that is the problem.
