We're looking for someone with event photography experience! This is a sweet gig - an annual formal with the following details (more specifics provided when you enquire) Location: Rydges Melbourne Ballroom, 186 Exhibition St, Melbourne VIC 3000 Date: Saturday, 23rd November 2024 Time: 6:30 PM - 11:00 PM Budget: $250 for photos on the night (no post-editing needed for this job - and we do have a bit of room to negotiate) Description: We need a photographer to capture our formal graduation event. Your job is to take photos from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM of our amazing attendees. You'll need to bring your own camera and flash. Just focus on taking great pictures! You're welcome to stay for the whole event (goes until 12AM) and enjoy the food. Dress code is black-tie formal, so as a photographer so business casual would be appreciated. Post event, we'll just need you to upload the photos to our hard drive before you leave. It’s a simple upload and done-and-dusted situation. Our content team might want to edit your RAWs on the Sunday so we can get photos out to our participants to post. I also understand most photographers want to edit photos post-event, so happy to discuss options! It's a belated Halloween/birthday party happening in Melbourne CBD (Flinders st, right across the road from the train station), I often set up a camera on a tripod and people look after it themselves, but would love to have someone who can do it this time, roaming around and capturing the night. About 4-ish hours (from 8pm till midnight), no need for retouched finals but would love to have the raws.
