Wondering what it would cost to have someone replace a star picket and wire fence (about 30m long) with pine poles and white horse wire. I would supply the materials, just need the labour. I’m ready lacing fencing in sections so work could be ongoing if done well.

Star pick fencing with chain mesh, I’m ready to buy everything just need to quote on the job, 15x15m with 3 seperate areas and 3 seperate entries. 1 buck on either end and the does in the middle. These are dwarf goats.

We need the cross rails of a timber picket fence replaced. When it was built, the wrong type of timber was used for the cross rails (that the pickets screw into) and the rails are rotting away. The job would entail taking off the palings, taking off the rotten rails, screwing the new ones and replacing the palings. The paling and vertical posts are of appropriate timber and don’t need replacing (a couple might for other reasons). The perimeter fence is of a one acre block; however, not all rails need replacing immediately and it could be done over time (although would not want it to go on forever). Will pay cash and can reimburse for materials or make arrangements. Looking for a quote.

Attach 4 to 6 pickets to an existing fence. They have either fallen off or are about to. We have the missing pickets so just nailing or screwing of pickets to the fence required.

White Picket Fence: I wish to have someone help with a 1.2 metre picket fence. I have the timber posts and railings prepared and painted white. I have also prepared the sleepers, which have also been painted white. I have a good idea of where the posts will be placed, but I will need a stringline in position. I have purchased brackets for the railings and the sleepers. I will, most likely, put in the pickets myself once the posts and railings are in. I have 2 aluminium powder coated screens that need to be placed between two sets of posts squarely within the fence. These will add a decorative feature to the fence, and will be positioned in front/behind two trees. My intention is to place the posts in the ground without concrete (as this will extend the life of the timber), and connecting the posts with a sleeper at the bottom of each set of posts. I am open to concreting these?? The sleepers are pre-painted and will go into the ground slightly between the posts. There is mulch in the garden where I intend on planting native plants once the fence is completed. The fence is curved on a corner block and also slopes downwards on one side. I plan for the railings to be placed parallel to the ground, so it slopes with the ground at an angle. The railings and sleepers will fit between the posts using the brackets and the pickets will be fitted to the railings and the sleepers which will be parallel to each other so the railings don't slope downwards over time. You will most likely need to inspect the property first. I also have an electric hole digger but it is quite narrow, but should be helpful . I need a white picket fence built to enclose this outdoor area. Approx 7.2m total, please see 'photo 1' for reference. There is an existing pool-like fence that will need to come out first. I don't have a great pic of it, but 'photo 2' gives you a pretty good idea of what it looks like. Please include the pool fence demo and removal from site in your quote. I'd like your recommendation on fence height. Something with a little privacy but still gets some sun, likely 1200-1500mm I'm thinking.
