Hi, I need a highly skilled + experienced,expert tradie to repair my Horsehair plaster ceiling that has been waterdamaged. Ceiling is 4m*4m. See pics of space above the ceiling - more lathes will need to be installed. ** MUST have experience in old 1950's Horse Hair set plaster ceilings & reattaching to laths and watwrdamage repair! The roof has been fixed & waterproofed, but the ceiling needs work. There are 5 main areas that that need attention. Area 1 - Approx 30cmx30cm - Minor moisture cracking,water based stains,sagging from laths/rafters Area 2 - Approx 2mt x 15cm - Long stress crack,sagging from laths/rafters Area 3 - Approx 1mt X 1mt - Major damage-flaky paint +damaged plaster, cracking, staining,major sagging from laths Area 4 - 30x30cm MinorWater Damage Stain+Flakey paint Area 5 - 15cmx2mtrs Sagging from laths Area 6- 15x15cm Minor flakey paint + plaster * Prepping - Washed,Cleaned, sanded, loose material removed etc * Make structurally sound - reattach to laths, reinforce whole plaster ceiling * Replaster, prime, paint as needed Paint is in good condition and not flacking except in damaged areas . no mould.
