Hey guys, I have a gyprock wall and I want to make a niche box with timber and gyprock inside of it as a decorative shelf/space. Behind this wall is a void. I want a niche size about 60cm height, 30cm width and 20cm depth. What you need to do is to cut the gyprock, make a box with timber inside the wall frame, gyprock it again. I supply paint, brush, and some of the materials.

I have added an extra wall within a wall for soundproofing but have a small gap at top. I would like the gap filled with some foam I will supply, and either straight edge or cornice added. Also add skirting to this one wall.

Hey all, I will be guided by your recommendations - however we have recently renovated our kitchen and this was an old cupboard that has been ripped out. It is now where the fridge sits, however the wall is patchy/showing through. I don’t know if the back and right side need to be re-plastered, so we can paint? Or even just side re-plastered and the back patched up.
