I have a new fridge (LG GF-L700PL) with an ice maker, but am struggling to connect it to the water outlet. The plastic attachment that came with it is too large, so I got one that fits (the metal one) from a plumbing shop, however it leaks a little. The previous owners had a Samsung Fridge with water and ice that worked fine.

Bathtub spout replacement. Really simple job. Old spout has been taken off already. New spout can be screwed on easily. I am not a plumber so I want to make sure this is done properly. Really just need silicone applied and new spout attached so that there are no leaks etc. in the future.
