I need to replace a shower which is leaking and an outside tap that is leaking.

Accidentally broke the main water supply pipe when digging the tree root. The pipe is leaking now. We are certain where the leaking place is, but not 100% sure the material of the pipe.

I am after a solution for a problem. So, feel free to suggest and quote: Our hot water system is connected to off-peak meter and from time to time, we run out of hot water during peak times. I wonder if it could be rewired so that in such cases I can switch it from off-peak to normal meter and basically turn it on? Replacing the hot water with a bigger capacity is not an option.

Require the following: - relocate pipe from water meter (consumer side) to run below retaining wall - install T piece to link existing tap back into system As per image, access to required area has already been dug and all work is in the same area. I have also dug a channel under the retaining wall. Long story short; had several issue’s with gum tree roots cracking pipes over last 10 years so had a poly-pipe ran over wall to mitigate risk of happening again after the third time. Gum tree has now been removed and pipe needs to go back in.
