Chemicals and treatments
Just because your pool’s clean, doesn’t mean the water is (whether it looks green, cloudy, or clear)! One important part of swimming pool cleaning involves your pool technician testing your pool to gauge the quality of the water. They’ll check the result and treat your pool with chlorine or salt to balance the pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness of the water.
Filter cleaning
Pool filters do a lot of heavy lifting to keep your pool water nice and clean, so it’s important that they’re kept clean. Your pool technician will empty and backwash your filter before giving it a deep chemical clean. They’ll also check the filter cartridge to make sure it’s working properly and advise you if it needs replacing.
Equipment checkÂ

Every few months (or if your pool is looking particularly dirty), your pool will need deep cleaning. Deep cleans are carried out by pool technicians who will get rid of built-up debris and clean out any smaller particles floating in the water. They’ll brush and vacuum the pool walls and floor with professional equipment before cleaning the decking around your pool, leaving your pool fresh, clean, and ready for swimming.

Need to clean residual algae from grout between pool tiles, on pool walls and floor. Algae appeared some time ago when filter stopped working for a few days. Filter now operational and water is good, but some algae remains on tile grout. Have previously scrubbed with metallic bristle brush and 70% is clean but some further cleaning required.
