Electrical Power Points I have just installed a cutting station in the centre of my salon, I would love to hook it up to some power ( see pics ) for blow dryers, hot tools . The table is sturdy not bolted to the floor. I am more than happy to have power coming from the roof rather than up under floor. I have a dual power point (pictured) in the skirting in one room. It's used for electronic stuff, so monitor/laptop/phone chargers/router/NBN FTTP etc using a 6 way power board. Noticed a buzzing at the power point, disconnected everything, noticed the power socket attached to the power board looks melted/fried. Will throw that power board in the bin. Expect I require a new power point to be installed and tested, would love to go to a 4 socket if feasible to avoid similar issues in future. Date listed is earliest feasible date, happy to discuss booking in a later date.

I need two out door power points marked in red , the conduit is marked in blue , I will run power to low voltage outdoor lights in conduit under the path, directly behind the power point located just off the ground is a power socket indoor so I assume you can just piggy back off that. I need to install a 15A power point in my garage. The distance between the power point to the meter is less than 10 meters (aprox 7 meters). There is space in the switchboard. I do not have a 15A circuit in the switchboard to use. This needs a new dedicated circuit to be used only for this power point. Would like to know the cost of installation including the material. We are looking for a certified electrician to look into the power shortening and switchboard related issues in a dairy goods processing facility. Some of the switchboards do not work and the shortening of power supply (that results in turning off the main freezer), all thought happen infrequently, but poses a risk of melting down prepared items. Detail (Single Storey home): - Power Point 1 - new install of 4 outlet point under desk in study. There is an existing power point on the other side of the cavity wall, so wiring should be minimal. - Power Point 2 - changeover from 2 outlet to 4 outlet point in Butler's Pantry (1) - Power Point 3 - changeover from 2 outlet to 4 outlet point in Butler's Pantry (2) - Power Point 4 - changeover from 2 outlet to 4 outlet point in Rumpus room behind TV - Ceiling Fan 1 - new install in bedroom 2 - need wood for battens and hole saw for ceiling. Ceiling fan has remote, dual switch has been purchased to replace single switch. - Ceiling Fan 2 - replace chandelier in bedroom 3 - Ceiling fan has remote, battens and dual switch already in place. Prefer Saturday for job as we WFH on weekdays and need power 9-5.
