I'd like a pre-purchase inspection to check: Verification: VIN, odometer, service logs books Mechanical inspection: brakes, under body, tyres, engine, oil leaks, electrical systems, steering, suspension checks and driveline operation test. Motor: Check condition of components and test operating systems, including scanning for fault codes. Body and interior condition: body panel, paint condition, interior trim, door, windscreen, window operation, door lock and central locking, check air conditioning Damage repairs: paint depth gauge test to try to identify possible cosmetic repairs, in addition to conducting a visual inspection in an effort to detect signs of accidents, hail or flood damage Wheels: check on the condition of the tyres, assessing remaining tread and identifying any damage, inspect the cosmetic condition of the wheels/rims
