What does a projector installation service include?
Our projector installation service covers pretty much everything you’d expect in a handyman or installation service: equipment, set-up, and testing. Though the details may vary from Tasker to Tasker, you can pretty much expect the standard inclusions, such as:
Home theatre projector placement
First, your Tasker needs to pick a spot for your projector. This depends on the size of the projection and your room or home cinema. If your projector can be mounted to the ceiling, your Tasker may suggest it so that it doesn’t block the seats.
The goal is to provide the best possible experience for you, your family, and your guests. If you’re using a fixed installation projector, do make sure that you’re happy with its placement in your home theatre.
Screen set-up
If you decide to put up a screen instead of just projecting onto a wall, your Tasker will take care of this as well. Screens are recommended for a better viewing experience since they produce a better image than a blank wall.
AV projector installation
Whether you plan to set up the projector on a table or up on the ceiling, the picture must show up properly on the wall or screen. Your Tasker may test this a couple of times, after which they’ll confirm that you’re happy with the positioning. Then, they’ll fix the projector onto its mount or bracket (for ceiling-mounted ones) or simply mark the spot on the table and floor.
Once the projector is installed, your Tasker connects it to the source - your cable box, gaming console, DVD player, and so on. If necessary, they’ll conceal the wires that are running along the floor, walls, or ceiling.
Testing the projector
Once the projector is installed, the Tasker projects an alignment image. This is to make sure that the projector and screen locations are aligned, and that there’s no need for further adjustments.
Afterwards, your specialist may do a simple run-through of your projector’s features, just to make sure it works correctly. This step includes checking on wireless transmission, correcting the image shape and saturation, etc.
When you and your Tasker are 100% satisfied with the image quality and the home theatre experience, your Tasker packs up and goes on their way. You’re now free to pop some popcorn, order some takeout, and enjoy your brand-new home cinema!

We are installing a new ceiling mounted projector and need the following installed: - run power cable into new power outlet on ceiling - run 2 HDMI cables (will purchase these ourself or happy to pay if they can be provided) from place where projector will be mounted, across ceiling, then down and out the bottom of the wall on opposite side of room (ideally with both cables terminated into some sort of panel). These should be 4k 120hz capable cables, and will need to be roughly 15m if being provided - USB 3.0 cable run from same spot as HDMI cables to the same spot they terminate on other side of room (same length) - cat 6 ethernet cable terminated into port on ceiling, then run into existing patch panel in garage - timber bracing on other side of ceiling plaster so that we can mount the projector when it arrives Assuming you have an electrical certification to do the above, we'd also appreciate advice on switchboard requirements for a potential future induction cooktop oven/stove are looking to install

I have moved into a new home that has a ceiling mounted projector and a retractable screen. There are cables running out of the wall but I am not sure how to hook this up with my TV and make this work. The pictures show the projector and the cables running out of the wall. There is also what appears to be a surround sound system. My TV accepts HDMI, and RCA connections.
Easily solved the problem with our projector. We can now use it which is great.
