What do regrouting services include?
Regrouting services cover everything–from old grout removal to grout replacement, as well as cleaning and finishing touches. Regrouting tiles
The type of grout to be used depends on your needs and preference. You may opt for the standard one, although you can also explore a different colour. From there, your Tasker applies and pushes your chosen grout into the lines, with a grout float, spreader, or a bucket trowel.
Mostly, the application follows a certain angle or pattern, but this process still rests on your Tasker's techniques and strategies. They reapply all excess grouts into other joints to minimise overall waste.
Final touches
Once the joints and gaps are filled, your regrouting specialist wipes the surface down with a damp sponge to remove grout dust. After the grout has dried and set in place, they finish off by polishing and buffing the face of the tiles with a clean, dry cloth. If you want to give your bathroom or kitchen a makeover without replacing any tiles, you can also get an expert interior painter to assist. Depending on your needs, they can either lighten or darken your tiles using an appropriate paint solution.
After the whole regrouting process, you will notice a lot of excess grout and dust on the floor. At times, they even linger on the window glass, kitchen countertops, or other surfaces. Hi I need someone to regrout shower tiles area - two adjacent walls (subway tiles only, not Victorian floor tiles) Each wall is about 2mx2m. About half of the grout in the tiles are fine - I’m OK if focus is just on removing grout that is stained with mould or chipped. The main goal is that the bathroom looks clean and presentable. I’ve tried cleaning mouldy grout with bleach / and using a white pen from Bunnings but have had no success. The house is getting ready to be rented Also open to creative solutions (cheaper cleaning or painting solution) that doesn’t involve grouting.
