Existing timber retaining wall is leaning forward. We have raised a separate post on air tasker to replace this timber retaining wall with concrete sleeper retaining wall. But on this post we are checking if this retaining wall can be straightened by replacing the timber sleepers and adding few additional posts. Existing timber sleepers are 200mm x 75mm.

The existing 1 meter high x 20 meter wide timber retaining wall is leaning downwards. Hence existing timber retaining wall needs to be removed and replaced with a concrete sleeper retaining wall. Access gate to the backyard is 2.1 meter wide, but only a wooden stairs is available to get down to the lower backyard, unless we cut a ramp to get down. Alternative method is to do manual digging and handling.
