Hello, we are looking to get our timber retaining walls painted so it matches our concrete sleeper retaining wall. We have the paint but you’d need to provide your own paint brush/roller or spray gun. If a spray gun is used protective sheets/tape will need to be used to not get overspray around. We are flexible on timing and dates. We will clean the walls before you paint them.

Small retaining wall using posts and sleepers

Looking for someone to construct some simple, low timber edging and steps in our backyard in Gaythorne. Would be great to hear from anyone with experience in this sort of work who would have some availability over the next two weeks if possible. 13 concrete sleepers (in two loads) will need to be lifted on to a trailer so they can be moved down the driveway to where the retaining wall is. Each sleeper then needs to be lifted from the trailer and slotted carefully between C or H beam posts which have been concreted in place. Final preparations to the site are about to be completed and the area will be cleared and ready for the sleepers to be put into place. There are ten 2 metre sleepers which each weigh 72kg and three 1.6 metre sleepers which each weigh 57kg.

Build a small retaining wall. see the pics. The natural stones have been removed and some preparation done. So finish preparing ground and build the new wall from the materials in the picture. Height will be 500 mm high and 4600 long with one 90 degree corner at the end. The pics shows current wall in place. The old sandstone blocks stay but the natural rocks are to be replaced with 'natural impression flagstones' using silicone to adhere and caps on top. All materials will be here and supplier should bring own tools. Work has to be done on the weekend or a Monday as they're my days off. You need to have some skills and experience doing this kind of work, be reliable and give a reasonable quote.
