I'm looking for a handyman or a roofer, MUST HAVE insurance and white card, to do some roof repairs (replace box gutters) on a commercial building. Happy to pay $50/hour. I have all materials required for job and I'll be working alongside with whoever gets the job

House is in Zeehan and the below is the issue: Set up ladder and removed roof sheets in problem area found several damp/wet areas. Roof cavity smells highly of rat urine. Removal of roof sheet shows very old and torn sisalation which is not doing its job, its allowing condensation to run off holes in/tears in sisalation causing damage to plaster ceiling inside, also found wet/ damp area in eaves would be caused through same issue.

There are 3 damp spots in the ceiling; maybe the roof been leaking.

Single story buildings: a) Shed - flat roof: Replace missing/corroded roof sheets (a mix of Zincalume and Polycarbonate). Repair metal fascias on two sides. Add capping to one parapet wall. b) House - flat roof: Replace old fiberglass sheets with new poly carbonate on verandah. Add new fascia to one side of house and a short section. Hello, My single story 50s house in Goodwood needs some minor roofing repairs. Looking for someone with suitable experience to do the following - - loose roof sheeting around the chimney needs securing (suitable glue would be fine). - replace any missing screws in roofing sheets as needed, fill any gaps with suitable gap filler. Make it as watertight as possible. - the valley flushing needs a coat of rust retardant applied and when that’s dry, painted with a suitable paint to further protect it. See photos from building inspection from late 2020 for further reference. The roofing material is made from aluminium and so somewhat soft and easily dented by workbooks. Softer shoes would need to be worn and you must be vigilant to walk on the roof struts and not the middle of the roofing sheets. You would need to provide your own materials. I do not have a specific date in mind, we would need to negotiate a date that best suits. I would imagine to job will need to be done when the weather is fine. Please ask if you have more questions. I would ideally like someone with an ABN that can give me an invoice at the end but open to all possibilities. Thanks for reading.
