Hi, I am looking for someone who can line the rafters, build some triangular end walls (x 2), hide wires, pipes and insulation to make our attic space more dust proof and user friendly. Currently it is a solid deck about 4m x 3m with access via an attic ladder in our laundry (already in place). Open to ideas as to how to line and dust proof and what materials to use so this is cost effective. Doesn’t need to be an architectural masterpiece just a more functional and less dusty attic space. An access hatch in an end wall would be good to get to the roof cavity in the future if necessary. Laying some carpet would be the icing on the cake. Hoping this can be done in two halves so we can slide our stuff to one side, do one half then slide over and do other half (to avoid bringing it all down). Flexible with timing but ready anytime and before Christmas would be great.

Gutters need cleaning for a townhouse

I have had a building inspection for a sale and they picked up water under the en-suite floor tiles. I need to fix the water issue and likely retile half of the floor tiles. Approx 2m x1.25 m of affected area. They are basic white 20/20cm and the grout is white so should be easy to match. On a side note there was no water in the wall but some slight water damage to the door frame down low.

Hi I’m putting up a small pergola/carport structure with the help of a chippie. It’s about 2.4m wide and 5m long. Labour only. Materials will be supplied once it’s agreed what is needed. It is a flat metal deck roof, 5m of gutter on one side and 5m of flashing on other side against house (chippie has allowed for slight slope away from house). Getting built this week sketch diagram attached and some progress photos. Battens and beams spacing approx 400 centres. Final photo is our existing carport we would like to match this look.
