Before bloody insurance company (AAMI) will repair my roof, I need to remove the debris from the soaker flashing and install a storm seal strip between the flashing and the roof tiles located directly above the front left bedroom damaged plaster ceiling. Won't let me do it myself and won't let me get the roofer that will come to fix tiles do it while here. Going around it circles. Would be a 30-minute job for the bloke when here!!! In their words...."We believe this has caused a dam effect and allowed water to build up and leak from the flashing into the ceiling and wall causing the stains that have developed. The flashing needs to be cleaned correctly, and we would recommend a storm seal strip be applied between the flashing and the roof tiles to try and prevent further water from overflowing from the flashing again in the future." Clearly, I need this done as cheaply and quickly as possible please.

Hello, I have a tiled roof that has a few leaks. I need someone experienced with roofing to carry out some water testing with the help of a second person in the roof to locate the exact leaking spots. I need these leaks to be sealed with mortar and or silicone. Had Oscillot brand cat proof fence installed to make garden secure for cat. ( see photos with blue/ grey paint on fence) Cat can still escape. Need someone to help troubleshoot. Cat proof fence was installed onto large wooden brackets- these need to be trimmed as cat uses them as stepping stones. Alternatively, I have the metal brackets which came with cat fence which could be installed instead. Have installed small pieces of Perspex onto fence posts but not effective. May also need plastic sheet to be wrapped around some tree branches to stop escape that way. Basically need someone who can outwit a very smart cat!
