Need the current downpipe extended to near ground (approx 3.5m), and then the ability to attach a pipe to it - so can direct water on to lawn. Happy for PVC, no need for metal. Would like the current angled piece removed, so pipe goes straight down. It was like this because it previously feed onto a pergola roof (since demolished). This will be a fix for moment, but needs to be robust enough to over next month or two - serve as the incoming pipe into a small water tank. 2 other smaller jobs - (1) toilet: fix slight leak and loose water on/off fitting (moves freely - doesn’t turn off water) and (2) replace outside tap (just to simple, single tap only). Our downpipe previously fed onto a patio roof, but the patio has been completely removed. We need this downpipe extended (around corner), with a simple feed into the drain (shown in pic). This will only be a temporary solution, until we get a rain tank installed. I note this - as perhaps there’s not a need to use proper metal guttering/downpipe, maybe another option will still provide a solid and robust solution for next 6-12 months? If the option exists to have a switching option installed as well (switch between a hose outlet for lawn, or for feed into drain), that would be great. As you can see, the father-in-law approach doesn’t cut the mustard.

Full interior roof area to be sarked is about 20 sq.m. I will provide 40.5 sq.m of Bradford sarking so there is sufficient for overlap and wastage. Attach sarking to wooden beams inside roof to for dust and moisture barrier, with overlap to prevent water ingress. Seal as well as possible at the edges. I will provide staple gun to use for attaching the sarking. There is only one electrical wire in the area, and it is clear of the required sarking installation. I am very flexible with dates.
