Roof penetration sealant has cracks. A membrane has been applied over the original rubber pipe/roof seal. Repairs or replacement of the seal required to ensure roof is well sealed.Sikaflex is a UV stabilised flexible sealant which would be suitable for repair, alternatively replacement of the original rubber seal would be ideal solution. Also roof ridge capping flashing requires rivets to be installed to secure and seal join.

An friend's single storey house being is extensively renovated, I have permission to recover PV system. Energex wiring is disconnected and rolled back to pole. Task is to disconnect 5.5kW of panels mounted on two faces of the roof, each panel to be disconnected from the string(s) at the panel's standard connector so the panels can be individually removed. Panels to be removed by others. Disconnect all wiring from wall mounted inverter at unit standard connectors, inverter to be removed by others.

Outdoor area roof is too flat and leaking at a spot. Roof is supported by 5 timber columns which need to be cut, shortened and post anchors installed. (Currently they are full timber columns going from floor concrete to roof). End aim is to reduce height of the edge of the roof by 50mm. Water entered into our garage from rain was due to the downpipe from the double story releasing water into the valley and flashing on the garage and the sheer volume of water allowed water ingress into the ceiling through the valley pan.
