We had a rangehood duct installed and the sparky had to list a couple of tiles and cut the roof sarking under 2 tiles to be able to do the ducting. I would just like to get the sarking fixed. It might be enough to just tape it up with some sort of reinforced ducting tape, or it might need a couple of small pieces (I’m sure some off cuts would be fine) of sarking may need to be taped on or glued on with something like sika flex. There is a possibility I have a broken or cracked tile on my roof. I would like somebody to come and inspect and do whatever is necessary. I have spare roof tiles.
