The task is to finish off installing the underfloor insulation at my house. Approximately half the house has been done, but around 35sqm remains to be done. I have the poly underfloor insulation onsite and also have a Milwalkee hand stapler (with battery) and 12mm staples to complete the job. Clearance is around 550mm under the house. Minimal debris. I need: - you to install a vent kit so my extractor fan doesn’t jump pump wet air into my roof. I’ve bought this just needs to be installed. - a review of my roof tiles (terracotta) replacing tiles where necessary. I think there is cracking on the edge/verge tiles (I think I’ve got the name right) and I know at least one tile doesn’t overlap properly allowing some water in. - the tiles temporarily removed and insulation put in the roof at a small amount of hard to reach places (4 spots). I replaced the insulation a year ago but I’ve just had a look with a thermal camera and there is a small amount of spots missing where near the edges of the house. I’ll have excess insulation in the roof already just needs to be put in the right spots. Could also be this is spots where water can get in. I live in a small 2 bed unit that is only one floor (no second floor). Just for awareness I also have solar panels. I’ve taken a photo of the spots below and the thermal image as well. Currently wind comes through the sides of my single car garage door which can make it very hot/cold in the garage depending on the weather. I’m wanting this to be insulated to prevent this, I’m also unsure if water currently gets underneath into the garage, but preventing this is also ideal.
