I have my roof leaking water during heavy rains, only in one corner of the living room. That place on the roof is adjacent to the pergola roof and, because of that, leaves from the nearby eucalyptus trees pile up in the gutter, blocking the water drainage. Even if the gutter is clean from leaves, during a heavy rain the water goes on the ceiling anyway. I took a few pictures from the wall and from the roof sides. Just for the photo, I took one of the tiles out, to show what's inside. I'll count on you to assess what needs to be done and how much work is required. If you need more details, let me know.

Issue identified: Area around cornice (near kitchen, above refrigerator) has seen paint ‘pop’ off wall. See photos below. Inconsistent cracking around broader area. Issue has been present for 5 years+ gradually getting worse. Had building inspection completed in Dec 2021 to diagnose the cause. The findings of the building inspection report are attached to this task as photos. Need a qualified carpenter to go in the roof and repair the following: - Fix the incorrect installation of brackets across the entire roof frame - Remove timber back blocking where present, and replace with compliant plasterboard back blocking Completion of the job requires the issues listed in the building inspection report to be addressed (see photos). Note, the re-plastering/re-painting of the cracked areas (i.e. cornice, ceiling, wall) is not included in this job. This job is to address the structural issues with the roof frame as identified in the report.
