Top Saab Service related questions
Like most vehicles, your Saab vehicle will require regular maintenance checks and service to ensure that every part of your car is working smoothly. Whether it's used every day or seldom driven, getting your car serviced helps keep it in good running condition as well as avoid bigger and costlier damage in the future. If you’re experiencing any problems with your Saab, don’t hesitate to seek help from an expert mechanic immediately.
For older Saab models, the servicing interval depends on your car's mileage. Once it has reached 8,000 to 15,000 miles, you can get an expert mechanic to do an intermediate service which includes replacing your oil and oil filters, checking the brake fluid, inspecting the tyre tread and pressure, and doing a quick road test. Newer Saab vehicles, on the other hand, can simply alert you when it needs servicing using advanced technology; so, keep an eye out for any warning lights on your dashboard to get an idea of what your Saab needs.

Fix up a old Saab 93 convertible
$3,000
Sydney NSW Australia
19th Mar 2022
Bought a old 2005 Saab 93. It needs detailing it needs help it’s solid but the door handle feel off to a tangle of cosmetics to detailing to old school mechanics. I will source the parts needed and pay mainly from the UK. What I need is someone to help me as a project car to get this baby back to how it was. I don’t have mechanical skills and I’ve struggled with the door etc. seeking a inner west mechanic / detailed who is a bit bored or needs some extra cash. It’s a Saab so I will find the parts which are hard I’m after someone longer term to turn this car back to how it was! No idea on payment I always pay on results and ho early so let’s say $500 upfront and if you do well and ask me honestly for more we are winning. I will pump $2-3k into this car. Maybe a bit more, but after that it becomes too much and that’s on labour and some parts. If one part costs $1000 that’s fine I’ll do it but it just burns the budget. I also will pay a mechanic to do professional repairs I’m after someone here to get into the detail and work lean and tell me when something needs a garage / mechanic. I have most tools needed including a garage and wheel ramp et.
