I have a partial foot amputation and so I need to modify one of my shoes slightly. The work is not difficult, but I don’t have the strength or dexterity in my hands to complete myself. I need some help to cut a piece of leather, and sew onto the shoe as a tongue, affixed with a short elastic strap. I have the leather and elastic strap. And I have 2x shoes to complete the work on. Hi Guys, The job is to cut out and sew 11 modal fabric patch pockets to the left-hand side of nightshirt made of the same. The purpose of the pocket is to hold a mobile phone. The pocket's left edge starts 100mm from the left side seam toward the front, 375mm above hem. The internal dimensions of the pocket are to be 100mm wide by 130mm high. I will supply the nightshirts and material, you will provide the light grey thread. Similar to the existing top pocket, I do not want the pocket to bunch up or droop. See image as a guidance. John.
May did a somewhat unusual sewing task for me involving multiple garments. She understood what was required and made sure it worked by offering a better solution than the one I proposed.
