Find professional sewing in Thornbury

I've got a pair of heated motorcycle gloves off eBay. They are old and the fastening strap has come off (and been lost). I need to replace it with something elastic (to go around the wrist). I might be able to repurpose the strap from these old ski gloves (also pictured)

I have a basic skill level of sewing, and was taught to sew in school (many moons ago). I have recently acquired a very good second hand machine that I had serviced and I want to learn to sew upholstery cushions, attach zippers, cut my own patterns and then hopefully advance to more complex things. Looking for someone who can spend a few hours per week with my at my premises to teach me and work with me. Looking to pay about $30 per hour and do about 3 hours one day a week ongoing.

A - low cut leotard needs to be cut and sewn into high bikini style front and back. B - shape to fit and sew on black stretch velvet V shape front and back. I have the material. C - maybe more embellishments on bust tbc and will adjust fee accordingly if we do anything with the bust.

I would like to make a cover for my Roller which is used in therapy and yoga. I’m look for someone to see and attach a pre measure elastic waist band to 2 circle skirts that do not require hemming. The waist is already cut from the skirt I just need somebody to sew in the waist band. 2 skirts.

Hi! I have to finish a costume for stage (amateur adult dance thing) and I don’t have a sewing machine (or skill or patience). I’m happy to bring it to you. Tasks include: stitching sequin trim onto neckline and shoulder strap, hemming skirt, attaching trims to skirt and sewing fabric arm band. We can confirm final time reqd / associated cost once you’ve seen what’s involved, as long as I can get a fair representation of likely cost here. I had some slip covers sewn for my couch on Etsy and am looking for a second one. The Etsy store was not in Australia and i would rather buy local. I can provide the fabric and act zips etc and the existing slip covers to use as a pattern.
