I’ve been told it’s just a matter of using the supplied wrench to remove the current shower head and to install the new hand held fixture (my father is unstable on his feet and can’t do it safely). It’s been swapped out before. The water has been switched off on that line so upon completing the job you’d also need to go outside and flip the valve to turn the water back on. I’m interstate at the moment and my father is alone and without a shower. Willing to negotiate fee. An example photo of what’s there right now is attached as a guide only. Apparently my dad did it himself last time and it’s straightforward.
