2.5 leather sofa needs to be lifted from downstairs deck to upstairs. Removalists refused to do it and said that it would not fit through the front door. Couch does not pull apart. Upstairs balcony leads directly to lounge room and has good access via double French doors. Couch not too heavy but awkward. Would be a quick job if we can use rope and pulley to hoist the couch up. We have a few items that need to be moved from Annandale to Concord... - one three person couch. It is currently wrapped in plastic and in 3 pieces, one for each end of the couch (the arm rests) and one for the seat area - 6 plants in smallish (eg, 20cm) black plastic pots There can be help at each end to move the couch and plants if needed. The Annandale pick up has some stairs at the front to manage but isn't difficult to manage. There are no access issues in Concord. The house level is on street level. We need these items to be moved on Friday 9th August, ideally at about midday.
