A job for today …… I need to pick up a softness and a queen bed an mattress and move them today.

My Eva everyday 2 seater modular sofa should arrive later this week in 4 medium size boxes. The courier won’t take the boxes up to my floor via a large lift and in a trolley. I have a walking stick and need some help. Would like some help assembling. Entire job will take 1 hr.

We need someone who can collect a sofa (286 x 170cm dimensions but modular) from Narrabundah and transport it to Braddon. 2 of us will be available to help with transport either side. Timing: pick up around 7pm 16/12/2024

Washing machine , double bed, sofa bed and desk. Rest of items are small decor (lamps, folded down small table, lightweight small bench/seat, chairs) and boxes of clothes/personal items. Preferably at 5pm or 5.30pm - should take about 2hrs Pretty much just require man (or two) and a van: I am not very strong and don’t have a car. No unpacking or packing required. If in a small people-mover sized van, or car + trailer, it would require 2 trips (roughly 10 min drive) . Only moving DOWNSTAIRS in both locations and both sets of stairs are quite small . Hi Colin, A while back you moved our couch for us from Sydney to Canberra. Are you still in the removals business? We are looking have another couch shipped from Sydney to Canberra this week. The couch is a 2.5 seater, steel frame and will require 2 people to move it downstairs (terrace house). There's also an Ottoman. We will meet you in Canberra and help with getting it in the house. Need people to move: 1 X 3 seater, 1 x 2 seater, 2 X sofa chairs, a table and TV entertainment unit down 1 flight of stairs and into the garage of a townhouse. Stairs have a bend in them. Garage is at the bottom of the stairs. Minor disassembly may be required i.e. legs off sofas. Two people will be required to carry the couches down the stairs. Estimate 1 hour required. Would prefer experienced movers due to size of furniture and trickiness to get down the stairs.
