We're on the hunt for a friendly human to help us to manage a 40th birthday at a private, warehouse location in Albion for around 70 guests. This won't be a stressful undertaking. I’m hosting a lunch for 10 people at my house (New Farm) on Sat 7 Dec. It starts at 2pm. Essentially I am just after some support (to ensure I stay out of the kitchen!!). We would have some basic food prep (but the intent is to have most of it prepped or ready for easy plating); serving drinks (mostly wine or spritz’s) but would be interested in cocktails (but I would have these pre-batched - so essentially measure, shake and pour) and clearing the tables (and cleaning). It might sound like a lot but we’re pretty self sufficient (eg. Wine can be on the tables). Thinking 1-5 is probably plenty (we’ll kick on but food service done). I’m looking for someone to be able to make drinks and bring them down to us at the swimming pool or we might be sitting on the back Veranda and just be able to fit in with everyone and feel comfortable. I will also have food delivered to the house so if I need any help with that or putting some stuff in the oven. it will be a very easy and chill day.
