I’m hosting a 50th birthday barbecue for 20 people by myself and I’ve suffered a minor sporting injury that’s stopped me from the usual kitchen hand duties: *keep food preparation areas clean clean kitchen equipment and appliances *clean benchtops, floors, ovens and ranges *receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries *retrieve food items as requested by me *assist with food preparation *wash dishes, pots and utensils *ensure working areas are kept clear *throw trash out I will also need help laying tables before guests arrive and gathering used crockery and glassware after lunch to bring it into the kitchen to be rinsed and stacked back into containers for washing offsite. Preferably, I can leave you to brown onions on the stove top. The rest of the cooking will be done by me outside in the garden at the barbecue. Besides me doing the cooking in the garden, two people will be in the garden with me and coming in and out of the kitchen, one of whom is responsible for wine and the other responsible for dessert, which is two birthday cakes.
