My house guest cleaned the floor with 2 big splashes of vinegar on my grey marble/limestone floor. Small bathroom floor, about 2 x 2m, but the vinegar has etched/stained the stone and needs to be cleaned off, sanded with a fine diamond grit sander, and then sealed again. Probs 1-2hr job. The ceiling white, and the stain is a very faint pink almost a shadow if you're not really looking for it. The ceiling's paint needs to be colour matched, and the stain painted over so it looks good as new. The stain is approximately 24cm (L) x 12 cm (W).
