NO VAN RECQUIRED I am booking a taxi box to be parked on the street outside of my apartment block and need some help to assist with simply moving a couple of pieces of furniture down into the taxi box. Item list: 2 x pieces of modular couch (each piece is approx 1.5mx1m cushions will be removed) 1 x 220L top mount fridge (small) 1 x 5kg top loader washing machine 1 x chest of drawers with mirror (drawers can be removed so carcass of chest can be carried, mirror also detaches) 1 x double mattress (tbc may not be required). The walk from my apartment to street is about 30 seconds and so I anticipate this job taking 1 hour with 2 strong helpers. Taxi box offer movers offer cannot exceed this amount. Would suit Elwood local that is flexible on Friday as easy half hour job tops! Unload fridge, washing machine dining table and bench and sofa bed from taxi box in garage to lounge room/ kitchen which is a couple meters of moving. Unload HiAce van and load taxi box . Items include a 460 litre refrigerator, washing machine, tall boy, mattress and disassembled bed. Also other smaller items and boxes. I have a professional removalist 3 wheeler trolley. Taxi box will have a ramp but the van does not have a ramp. Hey, my name is Roisin, I’m looking for some help moving. My items are in two taxi boxes that will be delivered to my address in Elwood on Monday morning. I’m looking for help to take the items from the taxi boxes into the apartment. The items include: 1 washing machine 1 fridge 1 bed 1 sofa about 12 boxes, a TV, TV cabinet, small desk, bike My apartment is on the ground floor. The guys who packed the items into the boxes took about 1 hour 15 minutes so I’m anticipating this will take less time because a) my apartment was on 2nd floor and b) they had to spend time organising the items to fit into the boxes. I’m happy to help with the smaller items. The items will be already be outside the property upon arrival.
