Needing help (guidance), let’s just say someone setting my home recording studio up, someone who’s tech savvy, knowledgeable with music, can work Logic and know how to connect speakers, comp, mic, midi boards etc also suggest what I may need or is missing. I mostly work from home and not tech saavy anymore. My work is a consultancy where my clients require me to use different systems. I work on a Mac air and need to connect another screen. I also need to manage my backups as i have Google drive, icloud and One drive. They keep filling up and i suspect there is a lot of duplication going on. We are having problems with the home phone landline at my elderly father's home. People can't ring in. He can ring out. Optus says it's our problem and the wire going from the back of the phone to the modem (phone port 1) may need replacing? Hi, I'm searching for a certified technician authorized to work on the NBN HFC network and equipped with testing equipment. I'd like to have it done within the next couple of weeks, sometime Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. We've encountered issues within a high-rise building and received reports from NBN technicians indicating that the problems stem from the private cabling within the building. Some units are experiencing intermittent NTD dropouts, while others are not encountering any internet issues. Our plan is to arrange a meeting with a technician to conduct tests in order to determine whether the faults lie within the NBN network or the private cabling within the building. The plan includes the following steps: *If possible, conduct a test at the network boundary point to assess the NBN network. *Test the line for unit A at the tap. *Test the line for unit A at the socket. *Test the line for unit B at the tap. *Test the line for unit B at the socket. *Provide the values obtained from these 5 tests. You can present them in the form of a text document, videos, or photos taken at each location. I will be present on-site with you to ensure access to the comms rooms, taps, and sockets within the units.
