Hello! I need an experienced professional to remove carpet from an internal staircase (about 17 steps + landing). The carpet is fixed with the wooden tack strips and I want to remove those without damaging the tile floor underneath.

JOB DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS I am looking for a Tiler (with a contractor’s licence as per https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/trades-and-businesses/licensing-and-qualifications/wall-and-floor-tiling#11). I need my bathroom floor (exactly 1.8 by 1.8m2) tiled as well as one of the tiles stuck on a small part of the bathroom wall to ensure the design flows aesthetically (would obviously need to discuss this aspect of quote and come to mutually agreeable cost). The floor has already been waterproofed over a concrete floor and preparation is complete. I have a waterproofing certificate as this is required by strata and can provide this upon request. I just need a good tiler to lay and ensure tiles to ensure the job is done well, water drains correctly, efficient with experience etc. I purchased the following tiles from Di Lorenzo (Dank Street, Alexandria) late last year. • Tiles o 6 x 1200mm x 600mm Ceramic Terrazzo tiles (with the view, idea being that one at least or the additional could be perhaps used on tiny bathroom bench, if an option, but happy to be negotiable on price depending on the effort required for this aspect of job and will pay for that once agreement reached. o 3 x 600 x 600mm Terrazzo Porcelain tiles to delineate toilet use from shower use in the interests of hygiene Godliness and general hygiene. • Already installed a lip on bathroom door entry leading out to living room. • No moving of existing structure required (as split drain has been installed with the Tiling stage in mind! • Minimal cutting required. • I do not expect effort exceed 1 full day but would allocate 2 days to this work to factor in the unexpected knowing my luck lately. This aspect would of course need to be guided by you as well. • All walls already tiled and stay unchanged essentially. • I am flexible on cost depending on what is completed and have more general work like installing shelving, but totally optional!! Ideally, I would like the job done quite soon, but flexible on date and am fine to have it done on weekend.
