The exact method and tools to be used will depend on the type of tiles you have.
Usually, the first measure and create a clear guideline to ensure precise cutting. They may use a diamond blade tile cutter for natural stone surfaces, or a tile scorer for ceramic tiles. If the cut isn't clean, they can also smooth and wipe down the edges with a tile file or any other helpful tool.
RegroutingÂ
If retiling isn't an option for you, you can always spruce up your old and grubby bathroom or kitchen spaces through regrouting. Your wall and floor tilers can cover the entire process–from old grout removal and reapplication to cleaning and doing finishing touches. Feel free to personally choose the type of grout depending on the scope of applications. Ready-mixed tubes are ideal for small areas, whilst powdered grout is best for medium to larger scales.

I had my wooden stair case tiled last year at the front entrance. The tiles are all falling off. Thinking we need a stronger flexible adhesive to factor in slight movement on stairs.
