Replace tiles behind kitchen bench with similar or splashback

I am wondering if it is possible and cost effective to replace the benchtop and put in tiles or splashback above and behind the existing kitchen cabinets.

I have 2 stone tiles that are 2.5cm thick. Possibly marble. I want them cut to size. In total I need 4 cuts (2 edges per tile). I assume I need someone with the right kind of saw. Hi need to fix the splash back , It has a stain of burnt I also need an opinion, is that my fault? I was using the stove, I was just boiling water using a pot and the srain come out.
